Coaching, NLP, and How This Differs From Therapy
Coaching is not therapy.
Therapy focuses on diagnosis, trauma processing, and clinical mental health treatment. When that level of care is needed, it is essential and appropriate.
ICF aligned coaching is present and future focused. We work with patterns, behaviors, stress responses, and decision making in real time to create measurable shifts in how you respond.
NLP adds practical tools that help shift internal narratives, interrupt repetitive loops, and expand response flexibility. Combined with nervous system education, this work becomes structured, skill based, and applicable in everyday life.

In our 45 minute sessions you will:

• Learn regulation strategies you can apply immediately
• Increase awareness without spiraling
• Build cognitive and emotional flexibility

You will benefit most from coaching if you are willing to reflect honestly, experiment with small behavioral shifts, and apply what we discuss between sessions.
If you are primarily seeking emotional processing of past events, therapy may be the more appropriate support.
