Why Regulation Support Matters
Pets experience nervous system stress during many everyday situations. Adoption is one example, but changes in routine, environment, household energy, expectations, or caregiving roles can also disrupt regulation.
When regulation is compromised, pets may appear withdrawn, anxious, hyper alert, reactive, unsettled, or difficult to soothe. These responses are often misunderstood as behavior problems when they are actually signs of nervous system overload.
Pet Tranquility is grounded in the understanding that regulation comes before behavior. When the nervous system is supported first, pets are better able to settle, bond, learn, and adapt over time. This approach reduces pressure on both pets and caregivers and creates calmer, more sustainable outcomes
If your pet’s behavior has felt confusing or harder to soothe than expected, you’re not alone. Stress and adjustment look different for every nervous system

The JPotter Health Approach
Pet Tranquility is part of the broader work of JPotter Health, where the focus is on nervous system regulation, stress responses, and compassionate, science-based support.
Founded by Jackie Potter, an ICF-certified coach with training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, the program applies regulation-first principles commonly used in human stress and anxiety work to support pets and the people who care for them.
This approach bridges research, lived experience, and practical guidance, helping caregivers feel informed, supported, and confident as they navigate stress, change, or adjustment with their pets.
No obligation. Just information and clarity.
