What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a science-based approach to understanding how language, thought patterns, and behavior interact to shape our emotional experiences. Originally developed by studying how successful therapists and communicators created change, NLP provides practical tools for identifying unhelpful mental loops and shifting them toward healthier, more productive patterns. It works on both conscious and unconscious levels, helping individuals change how they perceive and respond to stress. The core idea of NLP is that our thoughts, language, and behaviors are interconnected and can be systematically reprogrammed to enhance performance, solve problems, and achieve desired outcomes. 
In an NLP coaching session, we explore not just what you're thinking, but how you're thinking it—what images, language, and body cues are attached to certain stressors or beliefs. This allows clients to rewire their inner narrative, break free from anxiety loops, and build resilience from the inside out. When paired with awareness of the body's signals—like those coming from the gut—NLP becomes a powerful tool for lasting change.

1. People Work Perfectly: NLP posits that people are always operating in perfect accordance with their internal programming, meaning all behaviors serve a purpose.

choices. If one approach doesn't work, NLP encourages trying different strategies until you achieve your goal.
4. The Mind-Body Connection: There is a substantial link between mind and body. Changes in one can result in changes in the other.

Meet Jackie
Hi, I’m Jackie Potter—Owner and Founder of JPotter Health.
With a background in biology and chemistry research, I’ve always been drawn to science. But it was my personal experience with anxiety that led me to truly understand how much science can empower healing—especially when paired with the right support.
I’ve lived with anxiety for most of my life. It wasn’t until I became a parent that it became truly debilitating. When I began to see the same patterns in my son, I knew I had to learn more—not just for me, but for him. That decision set me on a new path. 
I am a credentialed NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) coach and an ICF-certified coach through the International Coaching Federation, I also hold over 20 certifications in wellness, coaching, cannabinoids, the endocannabinoid system (ECS), and advanced tools for emotional will-being. 
These aren’t just titles—they’re powerful tools I use every day to help people move through anxiety, stress, and overwhelm.
This work is deeply personal for me. I’ve used these same science-backed techniques to help myself, my family, and many others regain clarity, confidence, and calm. I’d be honored to help you do the same.
