What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is future focused and action oriented. It is designed to help individuals improve emotional regulation, stress management, mindset patterns, communication, resilience, and daily functioning.
Therapy often focuses more heavily on diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, processing trauma, or working through deeper psychological concerns.
JPotter Health does not provide therapy, diagnose mental health conditions, or replace medical or psychological care.
What is NLP coaching?
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP coaching focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, language patterns, and nervous system responses. It is designed to help identify unconscious patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, overwhelm, self doubt, emotional reactions, or mental exhaustion.
At JPotter Health, NLP techniques are combined with evidence based coaching principles, nervous system education, and practical stress regulation tools.
Do you use science based approaches?
Yes. JPotter Health strongly emphasizes science based education and coaching approaches related to stress physiology, nervous system function, behavioral patterns, emotional regulation, communication, and neuroplasticity.
Coaching integrates evidence informed concepts alongside practical application.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Coaching conversations are kept confidential within appropriate professional and legal boundaries.
